Today is a B-Day.
Juniors – ACT Prep Class Flyers are available in the Main Office. Great opportunity to prepare for the April ACT Exam. The ACT Prep Class will occur in the evenings during March and early April at WHS. Deadline to register in February 15th.
The WHS Drama Department is on the lookout for Tech and Backstage crew for this year's musical: The SpongeBob musical. If you are interested please email Ms. Lanoue. The first meeting for this will be on Friday, February 7th right after school in the music room.
Seniors! Local Scholarships are now available in the Guidance office. Stop in and pick up your packet today! Deadline to apply is Friday February 28th at 3:00 pm. No extensions on deadline date.
The Cheerleaders are advancing to the IHSA State Finals this upcoming weekend (Friday February 7th and Saturday February 8th). They will compete at approximately 9:20 am on Friday February 7th in Bloomington. We will be offering a Fan Bus. Cost is $15.00 per person which includes admission into the arena. Sign-ups and Field Trip Permission Form is available on the Main Office Counter. Deadline to sign-up is 2:00 pm on Thursday. The Fan Bus will depart at 7:30 am and return to WHS around 11:30 am.
Wednesday February 5th will be a School Improvement Day. Dismissal at 11:15 am. No Wilco

If you signed up for an internship on your 25-26 school year schedule, be sure to fill out and return the completed applications to Guidance by Friday, February 7th. The applications were sent through your school email, and are also available in the Guidance Office.
Amy’s Corner Week is this week. Stop by the Library for fun games and activities. We celebrate the wonderful contributions from the Salaba Family over the years. Thank you Mrs. Turner for providing us with a special week of Amy’s Corner.
Tuesday--The Salaba family has given money to the library for 19 years. They have given over 70,000 dollars to the library.
Wednesday -- There are over 7,000 books in the library and 5,000 of them have been purchased by the Salaba family.
Thursday --Butterflies on the spine label show that the books were purchased by Salaba funds.
Friday--Thanks to all who celebrated Amy's Corner Week.
Free Tutoring continues for the semester every Tuesday from 3:10-4:10pm. Tutoring will be available with Ms. Keane for English and Essays, with Mrs. Maupin for Math, and with Mr. Ivanoff for Science.
All students must be parked in their assigned parking spot. Be sure to pick-up and complete a yellow driver application form in the main office. Return it along with a $50.00 payment to Krista ASAP. All students must have their vehicles registered in the main office.
If you are planning on applying to National Honor Society, or for college scholarships in the future, it is important for you to document your volunteer hours and collect supervisor signatures. Pick up a volunteer log in the Guidance Office. To qualify for National Honor Society, students need at least 50 hours of community service.

WHS Students: please continue to monitor your grades thru your Skyward Account. Please check your school email 2-3 times daily.
The Service Road between WHS and WMS/SIS is Off-Limits to bike riders and walkers before and after school. The service road is for buses only in the morning and afternoon. Vehicles should not drive on the service road as it is reserved for the School Buses. No Skateboards on WHS property.
Students driving to and from school day should obey the Speed Limit and Stop Signs. Especially on Wildcat Court, watch your speed limit. Please take the responsibility as a driver to follow driving laws. Please take extra caution with the snow, ice, and wind when arriving and departing.
