Today is a B-Day.
The end of the 1st quarter is Friday October 18th. Be sure all missing work is completed such as assignments, quizzes, and tests.
Photo Re-Take Day is tomorrow (Wednesday October 16th at 8:00 am). If you did not have your school photo taken back in August, then you will need to have your photo taken on 10/16/24.
FCA Meeting during WT in the District Board Room on Wednesday October 16th.
FCA Special Event on Thursday October 17th at 6:30 pm in the Cafetorium. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Free Tutoring continues for the semester every Tuesday from 3:10-4:10pm. Tutoring will be available with Ms. Keane for English and Essays, with Mrs. Maupin for Math, and with Mr. Ivanoff for Science.
The Wilmington Park District is having a Halloween Pumpkin Dash & Stroll. Discounted rate for WHS Students at $10 per individual. Event is Saturday October 27th at 10:00 am at Midewin Iron Bridge Trail.
All students must be parked in their assigned parking spot. Be sure to pick-up and complete a yellow driver application form in the main office. Return it along with a $50.00 payment to Krista ASAP. All students must have their vehicles registered in the main office.
If you are planning on applying to National Honor Society, or for college scholarships in the future, it is important for you to document your volunteer hours and collect supervisor signatures. Pick up a volunteer log in the Guidance Office. To qualify for National Honor Society, students need at least 50 hours of community service.

WHS Students: please continue to monitor your grades thru your Skyward Account. Please check your school email 2-3 times daily.
The Service Road between WHS and WMS/SIS is Off-Limits to bike riders and walkers before and after school. The service road is for buses only in the morning and afternoon. Vehicles should not drive on the service road as it is reserved for the School Buses. No Skateboards on WHS property.
Students driving to and from school day should obey the Speed Limit and Stop Signs. Especially on Wildcat Court, watch your speed limit. Please take the responsibility as a driver to follow driving laws. Please take extra caution with the snow, ice, and wind when arriving and departing.
