Today is an A-Day.  

All students must be parked in their assigned parking spot.  Be sure to pick-up and complete a yellow driver application form in the main office.  Return it along with a $50.00 payment to Krista ASAP.  All students must have their vehicles registered in the main office.

CATcrew is meeting today in the Library during WT.  If you have interest in being a part of the organization, please attend today’s meeting.   The Catcrew is supported by our local Wilmington Coalition.

We have extra 2024 yearbooks available in the WHS Main Office. $60 each. First come-first serve if you are interested in purchasing one. Contact the Main Office if interested.

Friday will be the last official day to place your orders for the annual Volley for a Cure spiritwear. you can go onto the District website to find the link.  Help support your Wilmington Wildcat Volleyball players and raise money for the Megan's Mission Foundation by packing the stands with pink on October 10th.  There will be a very limited number of shirts available to purchase the night of the event, so get yours today!

Homecoming Guest Request Applications are due on Friday September 27th at 3 pm.   Any guest not attending WHS must have a form completed and approved.

The Homecoming Dance is in the WHS Cafetorium on Saturday, October 5th from 7-10pm. Tickets will be on sale the week of September 30th during lunches. Tickets will be $15 each in advance or $20 at the door the night of the dance. See Ms. Keane with questions.

Ever wanted to share your musical singing abilities outside of choir or the spring musical? Now's your chance! On Friday September 27th right after school from 3 to 5 pm in the Music Room, Ms. Lanoue will be hosting a Karaoke Party Event. Bring a friend from high school and your best singing voice. It is a free event and snacks will be provided!

Free Tutoring continues for the semester every Tuesday from 3:10-4:10pm.  Tutoring will be available with Ms. Keane for English and Essays, with Mrs. Maupin for Math, and with Mr. Ivanoff for Science.

If you are planning on applying to National Honor Society, or for college scholarships in the future, it is important for you to document your volunteer hours and collect supervisor signatures.  Pick up a volunteer log in the Guidance Office. To qualify for National Honor Society, students need at least 50 hours of community service. 

Struggling, Stressed, Sad, Concerned for a Friend, or Just Need Someone to Talk Text To?   Use the Text a Tip Hotline anytime at 1-844-823-5323.  As always, our school counselors are available to talk with you as well.   A note will be sent to your school email later today with more information.

WHS Students:  please continue to monitor your grades thru your Skyward Account.  Please check your school email 2-3 times daily.

The Service Road between WHS and WMS/SIS is Off-Limits to bike riders and walkers before and after school.   The service road is for buses only in the morning and afternoon.   Vehicles should not drive on the service road as it is reserved for the School Buses.   No Skateboards on WHS property.

Students driving to and from school day should obey the Speed Limit and Stop Signs.  Especially on Wildcat Court, watch your speed limit.  Please take the responsibility as a driver to follow driving laws.    Please take extra caution with the snow, ice, and wind when arriving and departing.
