Another new and exciting school year is right around the corner, and we can't wait to see our Wildcats! There are important dates and times that you will want to add to your calendars, and we are here to help keep you informed.
Wednesday, August 21st is the first day of student attendance, but you don't want to miss out on some other key dates. Fee Day is on August 7th, from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at each of our 4 schools, and Open House on August 19th gives your student(s) the opportunity to meet their teachers, see their classrooms, explore their school and find their lockers.
Open House schedules are as follows:
Bruning Elementary School - 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Stevens Intermediate School- 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Wilmington Middle School - 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Wilmington High School - 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. (Freshman Tour)
You also don't want to miss Purple & White Night on Friday, August 23rd! Get your family ready for another exhilarating year of Wildcat Athletic activities by attending this annual event. Break-out parent/coach meetings begin at 5:00 p.m. in the WMS gymnasium, athletic and coach introductions begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Jeff Reents Football Stadium, located behind Wilmington Middle School at 6:00 p.m., and football scrimmages begin at 6:30 p.m. You will be able to enjoy an evening of delicious grilled food at our concession stand, pick up some fresh Wildcat spiritwear from our Athletic Boosters, and be entertained by the Wilmington High School Marching Band & Spiritline.
